As you grow older, the body starts to let you down, but there are a few things that you can do to make you look younger. Some ideas are very simple that you can follow that are appended below:



1. Exercise. Doing exercises to strengthen your tummy muscles will also help. Combine cardiovascular exercise for heart and lungs, resistance exercise for muscles, stretching for flexibility and balance exercise for coordination.

2. Standing Up Straight. It is one of the best ways to look younger and more confident. Standing straight, with shoulders back and down with your tummy pulled in. 


3. Have Enough Sleep. Having enough sleep, at least 7 to 8 hours a night will make you feel healthier and younger. Sleeps repair your body cells and refresh you mind.

4. Smile. There is a saying, 'Smile If You Are Wise'. Smiling makes you look radiant and younger. Smiling also distracts from areas that show your age. A smile just changes your whole face.

5. Short Hairstyle. A short hairstyle can be cut to flatter and frame your face. This can be great to draw attention away from signs of ageing. A good hairdresser should be able to advise on the best way to cut your hair, as it does not just depend on the shape of your face but also on the texture and volume of your hair.

6. Colour Your Hair. It is also a great way to hide the tale tell grey hairs. It is best to choose a colour that is close to your original colour so that it naturally compliments your facial tones. 

7. Appropriate Clothes. Choosing right clothes to compliment your body and hide the areas that you do not like. Soft colours will help you look younger because your skin tones become greyer as you get older.

8. Care of Teeth. Do brushing and flossing, and with regular visits to the dentist to have your teeth checked. Getting teeth cleaned to prevent plague build up can also save you losing teeth unnecessarily. 

9. Loose Weight. It can also help you look younger. Make sure to do regular exercises. Losing weight will tone your body with aerobic and resistance exercises.

10. Proper Make up. Use a light foundation that does not sink into the wrinkles and emphasis them is better than a heavier one that does.

11. Cleanse and Moisturize. Clean your face with a proper cleanser so that it dissolves all the make-up on the face and cleanses it properly. Do not clean your face with soap and water. Always make sure that you remove your makeup every night as one night leaving it on can age your skin eight days. After cleaning your skin make sure that you moisture it so that it keeps your skin hydrated and younger looking.

12. Avoid Alcohol Consumption. Alcohol can cause premature aging as well as being linked with disease later in life. Alcohol also dehydrates you, which will make your skin look more dry.

13. Avoid Smoking. If you're a smoker, make a concerted effort to quit smoking as soon as you can. It makes your lips thinner, your skin dryer and more wrinkly, and dull and your hair and nails discolored. 

14. Reduce Stress. It's a fact that a stressful lifestyle will make you tired and unhappy, and will give you wrinkles. Try to reduce the number of responsibilities you have, and find new ways of coping with life's demands.

15. Stay Hydrated. Drink at least 8 to 10 glasses of water and you will help keep your skin moist and will continue to look as fresh and young as can be.

In addition, eat food that makes you look younger. There are some foods you can eat regularly that can make you look and feel more youthful. Here are some foods that you should incorporate into your diet if you haven't already:

1. Strawberries. A cup of strawberries delivers about 150 percent of the daily recommended amount of vitamin C and eating more vitamin C rich foods may help to ward off wrinkles and age related dryness.

2. Tomatoes. Consuming tomatoes may protect your skin from sunburn. You can also take pink grapefruit, carrots, watermelon, guava, oranges and red peppers.

3. Tuna. Tuna and other omega 3 rich fish, such as salmon and sardines may help keep your skin looking youthful and prevent skin cancer. 

4. Coffee. Drinking a single cup of coffee daily may lower your risk of developing skin cancer.

5. Cocoa. Studies have unequivocally shown there is no connection between chocolate and skin problems, and that some types of chocolate, in fact, may even be good for your skin.
