General
1. Every man in this world has a unique identity in the shape of fingerprints. This facts has been discovered lately in the nineteenth century. Before that people regarded the fingerprints as ordinary curvatures without the knowledge of any unique Identity. But Holy Quran mentioned that about 1400 years ago. How can it be possible to know except Almighty Allah.

2. A fingerprint in its narrow sense is an impression left by the friction ridges of a human finger. In a wider use of the term - fingerprints are the traces of an impression from the friction ridges of any part of a human or other primate hand. Such prints are distinguished by complex lines of bends. It is also a method to distinguish the identity of people. If the fingers of people were flat and didn’t have such unique curve lines - It would be very tough to trace crimes.

Mentioned in Holy Quran
3. Allah says in the Holy Quran : “I do swear by the Day of Resurrection. I do swear by the reproachful soul. Does man reckon We shall not gather his bones? Yes indeed; We are able to shape again the tips of his fingers.” (75: 1-4).
{لا أُقْسِمُ بِيَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ * وَلا أُقْسِمُ بِالنَّفْسِ اللَّوَّامَةِ * أَيَحْسَبُ الإِنسَانُ أَلَّنْ نَجْمَعَ عِظَامَهُ * بَلَى قَادِرِينَ عَلَى أَنْ نُسَوِّيَ بَنَانَهُ} القيامة 1-4
Nay, We are able to put together in perfect order the very tips of his fingers. (Quran 75:4). Every one's finger print is unique.

4. Is it not specific enough that the verse mentions fingerprints? It just mentions proportion/shape rather than 'mark' or 'pattern' or something that is convincing enough to be associated with fingerprint. Every person who is alive or who has ever lived in this globe has a set of unique fingerprints and it is used for this purpose of uniqueness around the globe.

5. The science of fingerprints has been used as a non erring identity determination method. Fingerprints attain their final shape before birth and remain the same for a lifetime unless a permanent scar appears. That is why fingerprints are accepted as a very important proof of identity.

Research and studies on a large number of people of different identity and ages found the scientific fact that no one is ever able to make similar human finger prints scattering all over the globe not even among two persons. The word fingertips refer to all hand fingers. So shaping them again after being scattered all over the universe on Resurrection Day is a sign of Almighty Allah’s power.

7. The fingerprint is a sign of Almighty Allah’s greatness of shaping such amazing lines on a very tiny space. So it is to be taken as guaranteed that human fingertips are one of Almighty Allah’s signs that contain the miraculous secret of His creation. 8. Amazing scientific facts of human fingerprints are enumerated below:
a. Fingerprints are formed in the embryo at the fourth month and remain fixed throughout human life. It never changes.
b. Fingerprints are a record of curvatures that arise due to the fusion between the epidermis with the dermis. These curvatures differ from one person to another and they never matches.
c. Fingerprints have become the best way to identify people throughout the planet.

9. Every human has a unique fingerprint from the time of ADAM (peace be upon him) till now. No one has a similar fingerprint to another person. Qur’an told us this scientific reality 1400 years ago ! Simply amazing ! On the other hand, Scientist has proved years ago that every single human has a unique fingerprint that differ from man to another and from woman to another so that you can ever never find two people with the same fingerprints.
