General
1. Air bubbles called aerosols form on the surface of seas and other waters due to foaming. They mix with the dust that winds drag from the land and fly toward the upper layers of the atmosphere. ... Clouds form when winds fecundate the free water vapor in the air with the particles they carry.
Quranic Verse
2. The fecundating characteristic of the winds and the formation of rain as a result are mentioned In the following verse of the Qur'an:
'And We send the fecundating winds, then cause water to descend from the sky, therewith providing you with water in abundance. (Qur'an, 15:22)'

3. In the above verse of the Qur'an, the 'fecundating' characteristic of the winds and the resulting formation of rain are mentioned. This verse points out that the first stage in the formation of rain is wind. However, modern meteorological findings have demonstrated the "fecundating" role of the wind in the formation of rain.
Elaboration of Fecundating Wind
4. Further information provided in the verse about the fertilising capability of the wind is its role in the pollination of flowers. Many plants on earth disperse their pollen by means of the wind in order to ensure the survival of their species. Several open seeded plants like pine trees, palm and similar trees, seeded plants that produce flowers. Grass like plants are entirely pollinated by the wind. The wind carries the pollen from the plants to others of the species thus fertilising them.
Functioning of Fecundating wind
5. Fecundating wind functions in the following way:
A large no of air bubbles form because of the water's foaming action on the surface of oceans and seas. Thousands of tiny particles, with a diameter of just one hundredth of a millimetre are thrown up into the air, the moment these bubbles burst. These particles mix with dust carried from the land by the wind. And are carried to the upper layers of the atmosphere. These particles carried to higher altitudes by winds come into contact with water vapour up there. Water vapour condenses around these particles and turns into water droplets. These water droplets first come together and form clouds and then fall to the Earth in the form of rain. The winds fecundates the water vapour floating in the air with the particles they carry from the sea and eventually help the formation of rain clouds. Water droplets in the upper atmosphere would never form and there would be no rain because of the fecundating property of the wind. This critical role of the wind in the formation of rain was stated 14 centuries ago in the Qur'an at a time when very little was known about natural activities.
Stages in the Formation of Wave
6. Waves are formed by the wind blowing above the surface of the water. With the wind, water particles move in a circular motion. This movement forms waves, one after the other and bubbles formed by the waves spread in the air. This is the first stage in the formation of rain. This process is declared in the verse.
Recent Discovery of Fecundating wind
7. The way that the wind was able to fertilise plants was unknown to the human kind recently. When it was known that plants are divided into males and females, the fertilising role of the wind was also discovered. This truth was already indicated in the Qur'an 14 centuries ago.
Research and Study
8. Research conducted on physical phenomena of flowers and plants demonstrated the importance of the fecundating property of winds. Winds play a role in the reproduction of plants by transporting small reproductive bodies produced in pollen sacs of the seed plants. The winds have also the character of fecundating the rain clouds which is another required factor for life on earth.

9. Can we visualize of such a book that mentions about a fact more than 1.400 years ago which science was able to discover only 100 years ago. Can we think of a person that mentions about a fact in a book more than 1.400 years ago that science was able to discover recently. Can any knowledgeable and logical person doubt that this book is a divine book and this person is different than anything else in this universe.
