Life Lessons From Albert Einstein - That will Change Your Life
Albert Einstein (14 March 1879 – 18 April 1955) was a German-born theoretical physicist who developed the theory of relativity. His work is also known for its influence on the philosophy of science. He is best known by the general public for his mass-energy equivalence formula E = mc2 (which has been dubbed "the world's most famous equation"). He received the 1921 Nobel Prize in physics for his services to theoretical physics, and especially for his discovery of the law of the photoelectric effect, a pivotal step in the evolution of quantum theory. Einstein was passionately curious about the mysteries of science. He was also a great philosopher and moral leader. He wrote hundreds of books and articles.
Early Life & Education
Albert Einstein was born in UIm, in the kingdom of Wurttemberg, in the German Empire, on, on 14 March 1879. His parents were Hermann Einstein, a salesman and engineer, and Pauline Koch. Contrary to popular belief, Einstein never failed math. He had learned integral and differential calculus on his own before he was 15 years old. In September 1896, he passed the Swiss Matura with mostly good grades, including a top grade of 6 in physics and mathematical subjects, on a scale of 1–6. At 17, he enrolled in the four-year mathematics and physics teaching diploma program at the Zürich Polytechnic. After graduating in 1900, Einstein spent almost two frustrating years searching for a teaching post. In 1900, Einstein's paper "Conclusions from the Capillarity Phenomena") was published in the journal Annalen der Physik. On 30 April 1905, Einstein completed his thesis and was awarded a PhD by the University of Zurich, with his dissertation "A New Determination of Molecular Dimensions".

Imagination is Powerful: “Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life’s coming attractions. Imagination is more important than knowledge.”- Albert Einstein
1. Explanation. Imagination opens the door to a Kingdom of possibilities. Imagination comes from knowledge, experience, and most of all, reading. Reading things in our sphere, say, blogging and SEO (if I am the case) there is nothing that I can’t imagine and do to make my website viral. The power to imagine is the power to formulate clear picture of how your future will be decorated if you do a particular thing.
Create Value: “Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value”- Albert Einstein
2. Explanation. What we focus on truly expands. Most people approach the word “success” incorrectly. Someone of value inspires others to live the right way and do the right thing. Live in accordance with one’s religious, philosophical, or spiritual values. A person of value has ethics, morality, decency, integrity, principles and honesty. All those things one should strive to achieve.
Knowledge Comes From Experience: “Information is not knowledge. The only source of knowledge is experience” - Albert Einstein
3. Explanation. Everything you do, you encounter, you learn, everything you experienced is changing your brain. Actual experience creates knowledge that is respected and valued by others. We can read books, listen to tapes, and take courses, but the experiences we have in life can provide the best lessons for others.
Make Mistakes: “A person who never made a mistake never tried anything new” - Albert Einstein
4. Explanation. Einstein meant that we should forcefully attack the fears and the unknowns. Mistakes are inevitable especially when pursuing something worthwhile. Challenge to make mistakes. That’s what divides people from successful and unsuccessful. You will never learn to conquer the weak sides if we don’t challenge to try and be wrong.
Follow Your Curiosity: “I have no special talent. I am only passionately curious” - Albert Einstein
5. Explanation. Einstein’s message was that curiosity forefront him through all the foundations during his life. Curiosity open new doors and form connections. It will continuously go deeper and deeper. Digging in places where no one before thought, miracles will be found so deep. Keep digging your vision. You will be amazed how life can be extraordinary with continuous curiosity.
Perseverance is Priceless: “It’s not that I’m so smart; it’s just that I stay with problems longer” - Albert Einstein
6. Explanation. Einstein concluded saying that perseverance bring major discoveries. Every problem has a solution. Keep staying with problem; you will discover at least one solution. Include perseverance in your character. Don’t ever give up on your unsolved problems. If you have a dream, you’ll be faced with obstacles but by staying with problems longer can mean the difference between failure and success.
Learn the Rules and Then Play Better: “You have to learn the rules of the game and then you have to play better than anyone else” - Albert Einstein
7. Explanation. We are taught the rules of the game in our whole lives. Whether we like it or not, we are obliquely learned to play by the rules. If we learn to preserve, persist and to gain experience more than others, we will always be one step ahead from others. Once you have a full understanding of the rules of the game, you can have the power to play better, challenge the rules of the game, or to change them. The stronger your commitment and passion is to your endeavor, the greater your resolve will be to succeed.
Live in the Moment: “I never think of the future – it comes soon enough” - Albert Einstein
8. Explanation. A person’s success in truly being in the present moment can be measured by the degree of peace he or she feels within. By becoming more aware of the moment, we can ground ourselves in what matters most. We can miss the pleasures of the present by becoming too preoccupied with the past and/or future. Reminding ourselves daily to be present will bring us more peace and joy as well as provide us with a greater appreciation for life.
Don’t Be Repetitive: “Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results” - Albert Einstein
9. Explanation. If you have been unhappy in certain spheres of your life such as assets, funds or relationships, choose to do one thing dissimilar tomorrow. The idea is to shake up the schedule. If you have a job that is unsatisfactory or that is wearisome on some level, think about what you can do to change the state of affairs. Sometimes a new perspective on the same situation is all it takes to open one’s eyes to what’s possible. The first step is to recognize the disappointment and then take a single action towards satisfaction.
Be Unconventional: “I never made one of my discoveries through the process of rational thinking” - Albert Einstein
10. Explanation. Everything great took a process of going outside the box and doing something unconventional. If you continue to do the norm, then you are going to just produce normal, conventional results. Think differently, and you may find your answer.
Work Towards the Impossible: “Only those who attempt the absurd can achieve the impossible” - Albert Einstein
11. Explanation. Take the risks. Be confirming to be able to achieve the impossible. When you go beyond what others think is reasonable, an amazing thing starts to happen. Think outside the box to get success.
Value People: “Life isn’t worth living, unless it is lived for someone else” - Albert Einstein
12. Explanation. The most respected person is the one who inspires others to achieve their best and enables them to unlock their highest potential. If you put people first, they will value you and look to you as a person who genuinely cares about others. Spend at least a few minutes out of your busy day being fully engaged with people without any distractions. Show them that you value them. Thank them and send compliments their way. It will not only make their day better, but they will appreciate it and remember what you have done for them.
Share Your Ideas: “Student is not a container you have to fill but a torch you have to light up” - Albert Einstein
13. Explanation. Share your ideas with others. You may light a spark that ignites someone to do what they have always wanted. If you just hold all of your ideas and knowledge to yourself, you are not helping others at all.
Do What Is Right: “Always do what’s right; this will gratify some and astonish the rest” - Albert Einstein
14. Explanation. Do what you love and what is right. That will bring definite success for you. Be decisive. Go out and choose the decision you feel that is good and right for you. Take time to follow your guts and do the right thing will keep you standing out from the crowd.
Simplify Matters: “If you can’t explain it to a six year old, you don’t understand it yourself” - Albert Einstein
15. Explanation. The more complicated you have to make something seem, the more you do not understand the inner workings of it. Make things easier to others to better understand by simplifying.
Love Your Craft: “Love is a better teacher than duty” - Albert Einstein
16. Explanation. Love can teach you things you never knew it can teach you how to value yourself. Love people for who they are. Value your work enough to approach it with enthusiasm and responsiveness. Dedication to your craft is the most heart-felt excitement of a worker can have.
Transcending Consciousness: “No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it” - Albert Einstein
17. Explanation. Transcendence is the state of excelling or surpassing or going beyond the usual limits. Others may think that to develop a higher consciousness can solve a problem but what one needs is to transcend the level of consciousness that one was in when the problem was created. In which the implication is that the level does not have to be higher or lower, but only be different. One must start with self-awareness to begin the transcendence journeys. This is where purposeful thinking shows how creative and wonderful the mind can be.
